World Taekwondo Council Member Hassan Iskandar has been awarded the prestigious Order of Australia Medal (OAM) by King Charles III in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport of Taekwondo over an exceptional 50-year career.

 The OAM is one of Australia’s highest honours, presented by the Governor-General of Australia on behalf of King Charles III, and is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication in fields such as Sport, Arts, Community Service, Science, Education, and Public Service.

 World Taekwondo offers its sincere congratulations to Mr. Iskandar on this remarkable achievement and celebrates his tireless efforts to advance the global Taekwondo community.
