World Taekwondo and the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) are preparing to host their first-ever World Refugee Forum as part of the two organizations’ ongoing commitment to empowering refugees through sport.
The Forum is being held on Refugee Day (20 June) in partnership with the Jordan Taekwondo Federation, UNHCR and the Rwanda Taekwondo Federation. It will be opened by World Taekwondo President and Chairman of the THF Chungwon Choue and HRH Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation.
The Forum will comprise a panel discussion and live interviews with people in refugee camps in Jordan and Rwanda and with refugee athletes.
