WHAT VISITORS SAY A quick note to let you know just how much Christian and I enjoyed our recent trip to Australia with World Taekwondo. While we had many wonderful experiences on the trip the highlight for us was with out doubt the many and varied different training experiences we had while there.
Boot camp gave us an exhilarating start to our day. It gave us a great chance to meet and interact with our fellow students from Australia in a fun and friendly environment. A wonderful experience which left us looking forward to each training session and disappointed when it was over.
The main purpose of the trip for us was the opportunity to train on a daily basis with Kwang Jhang Nim. Attending the Instructors seminar and being able to attend regular classes in the evening have greatly enhanced our understanding of the Martial Art of World Taekwondo and have served to reinforce the quality of the training we are receiving here in Ireland. One of our particular favourites was the chance to train in Hapkido on the beach. Such is Kwang Jhang Nim’s extraordinary training style and his ability to impart knowledge we were amazed to find that after what had only appeared to be a few a few minutes we were in fact training for well over an hour. This is something we also experienced in his regular evening classes.
We travelled to Australia with a great bunch of people and while we were there we made many new friends. Both of us have brought home memories that will stay with us for a life time. We would like to say a big thank you to Master Wahid, Master Carol Halimee, Senior Instructor Sheamus O`Neill and all of the Instructors and students who looked after us so well. In particular those people who took time off work and gave up their own free time to drive us around.
The Australia trip has become another great memory in our World Taekwondo experience. What ever your age or ability World Taekwondo offers something for everyone. Self defence, fitness, health, peace of mind and more importantly the chance to belong to a wonderful community of people. Even though we both enjoy different aspects of it World Taekwondo has become a major part of our lives allowing us time together doing an activity that we both enjoy an activity that leaves us fit and healthy and more importantly we have fun doing it. A rare commodity in this ever more hectic world.
Best Regards
Stephen & Christian Carway.
