Everlast EverGel Handwraps?
I am training with heavy bags, and I want to know if they are good for wrist protection, I need knuckle protection but also wrist protection since my wrists get hurt a lot. Are these good?
Well, you're wrong, I'm training at this boxing place, I've got gloves already, and I have the wrap but it's not too good with the knuckles since my knuckles keep opening up, but it protects the wrists well, I'm wondering if this will aswell or do I use all three, The wrap, the gel gloves, and the boxing gloves?
Answer:
My knuckles suffer a lot if I don't wrap them up proper, when I'm doing bag and pads I use the gel wraps, normal wraps over the top, then 16oz gloves. The gel wraps on their own will be fine for most people though, they are long enough to wrap the wrists up good and you only need to go around the knuckles and thumb a few times to keep the fist compact, as the gel already gives the padding.
If your using normal wraps then try putting a piece of sponge across the front of your knuckles and wrap over it for extra cushion.
