This female Pasadena portraitist has trouble with most of her unpredictable subjects every time she does a painting of them. The best manner of capturing dogs into her portraits is with the help of an instant camera and she does so at the second floor of her nice 67 year old home which she and her husband stay in. Subjects, both cats and dogs differ and she noticed that they all pose differently, others better than others. Her canine clients, most of them are of pure breeds. Such purebred dogs are easier to paint compared to mongrels with their more defined bone structure and distinct coat colors.
